We have three Bible Quiz programs at Lifeline Church; PeeWee Quiz, Junior Bible Quiz, and Teen Bible Quiz. It is a great way for kids and students to hide God’s Word in their hearts.
PeeWee Bible Quiz is for our youngest quizzers. They are given a condensed list of questions and each month, they gather as teams to be quizzed on the questions. Each quizzer has the opportunity to stand up and have a question out of a selection asked them individually so they are not only competing as a team, but also individually. The PeeWee quiz season begins in September and goes through December.
Junior Bible Quiz
Junior Bible Quiz (JBQ) is for kids from 3rd to 6th Grade. In JBQ, quizzers are given a large set of questions divided into 10-, 20-, and 30-point categories based on difficulty. JBQ is a great way to get God’s Word into the hearts and minds of kids through different doctrine and quotation questions. The quizzers are divided into teams of usually 3-4. They have the opportunity to buzz in and then have 30 seconds to answer the question as well as they can. The JBQ season runs from September through May. In January, churches from around the state come for a mid-season invitational tournament, At end of the year, each team’s statistics are analyzed and placed into a state tournament to determine who will advance to the regional and national tournaments.
Teen Bible Quiz
Teen Bible Quiz is for students in 7th – 12th grade. In TBQ, quizzers are encouraged to memorize entire books of the Bible and are quizzed on various topics, quotations, people, and places from that book. The books vary from year-to-year, but include Matthew, Mark, Luke, Acts, and many others. The seasons run through the school year, September through May. TBQ has a Midwinter Classic tournament at UW-Oshkosh in February and a state tournament at the end of the season.
