Pastor Rory and Karen met in The Celebrant Singers ministry in 1990. They were married in 1991 and have been in pastoral ministry since 1993 as both Assistant and Senior Pastors. Rory and Karen are very family oriented and have three young adult children. They came to Lifeline Church in August 2010 with a vibrancy and renewed sense of optimism. The heart beat God laid on his heart for Lifeline Church has been to “Get your eyes up higher than the horizon of your own humanity to see life from God’s heavenly perspective.” This motto has been an obvious part of his weekly preaching and teaching from God’s word through all the years of stresses, struggles and successes. Something that has sustained their lives has been scriptures such as, “Trust in The Lord with all your heart and do good. Delight yourself in the Lord and he will give you the desires of your heart.” “God can turn the bad into good for those who love him and live according to his purposes,” and “The joyfulness of the Lord is my strength.” Psalm 37:4-5, Romans 8:28 and Nehemiah 8:10
Student Ministries Pastor
Pastor Dan graduated from North Central University in 2008 with a BA in Church Music. At a summer camp in high school, he felt a calling to go into full time ministry. He was married in 2007 to Rachael, and they have three children; Levi in 2011, Norah in 2014, and Grace in 2017. He has a passion for youth and leads Frontline Student Ministries for 6th to 12th graders and the Sunday Night Live small group for college students and young adults. He’s called Lifeline Church home since November 2008. His favorite part about pastoring at Lifeline Church is the genuine community.
Pastor Dustin graduated from iMPACT School of Leadership and is working on completing his Bachelor’s Degree through Global University with a major in Biblical Sutdies and a minor in Pastoral Counseling. Dustin was called into the ministry at Spencer Lake Youth Camp when he was in high school. He met his wife, Hannah, while attending Spencer Lake Youth Camp and they got married in 2017. At Lifeline Church, he oversees the worship ministry which includes scheduling, recruiting, directing a choir, and leading worship on Sunday morning. Dustin believes that if people do not experience God, they will not realize their need for Him; therefore, he believes worshiping God is a vital part of the experience of God that will transform the lives of anyone who takes part.
